Data controller

Information we collect

Identity and contact details you submit (name, email, phone if provided)
Enquiry content such as preferred lesson, market, and message text
Enrolment and billing details needed to confirm seats and deposits
Technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited
Cookie identifiers as described in our Cookies Policy

We do not ask for trading account passwords, government ID numbers, or sensitive health information through the public forms.

Why we process data

To respond to enquiries and schedule lessons
To deliver training materials and follow-up office hours
To process deposits and invoices
To improve site reliability and understand aggregate traffic (if analytics cookies are accepted)
To meet legal and accounting obligations in Australia

Retention

Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months if you do not enrol. Enrolment and invoice records are retained for seven years to meet Australian record-keeping expectations. Analytics data, when enabled, is retained according to the provider’s settings, typically 14 months or less.

We use service providers for email, hosting, and accounting. They process data only on our instructions. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

International transfers

Some providers may store data outside Australia. Where that occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable safeguards, including contractual protections.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you believe we have mishandled your information. Security

We use HTTPS, restricted staff access, and commercial hosting controls. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive detail by email.

Children

Training is aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

We may update this policy by posting a new version here with a revised date.
