About Code Lib
A North Sydney practice teaching technical analysis through the lens of intraday chart structure.
Why we exist
Code Lib started because too many traders in our circle could recite indicator settings yet could not agree on where a swing high sat on the same fifteen-minute chart. We built a training room that treats structure as a craft: deliberate labelling, shared vocabulary, and honest review of unfinished ideas.
How we work
Sessions stay small. Charts stay relatively clean. Instructors mark in front of you, then hand the pen over. We favour Australian cash hours and liquid index futures because that is where most of our clients actually sit risk, though the same structure language travels to other markets.
Elias Ward — Lead instructor
Elias spent twelve years on sell-side desks in Sydney before shifting to education full time. He designs the intensive curriculum and still sits every private chart review himself. His insistence on hand-marked worksheets is either beloved or dreaded, depending on how attached you are to auto-drawn trend lines.
Priya Nair — Session coach
Priya leads opening-range clinics and remote cohorts. She came from proprietary trading on ASX200 names and cares most about whether a student can explain a label out loud before defending a trade idea.
Values that show up in class
- Clarity over cleverness. If a mark needs three footnotes, it is probably wrong.
- Shared language. We argue about price, not about which oscillator flashed first.
- Respect for risk. Training never pretends that clean structure removes drawdowns.
